1. What are the available memberships and benefits of being a member? 

  2. How many categories are available for Family memberships? 

    To accommodate families of smaller or bigger sizes, we have introduced new categories of family memberships catered for 2 adults and up to 5 children (Age: 3 to 16 years old). With effect from 1stOctober 2013, the following family membership categories are available for application:

    • 2 adults and 1 child
    • 2 adults and 2 children
    • 2 adults and 3 children
    • 2 adults and 4 children
    • 2 adults and 5 children

    *Promotional Feather Friends membership launched on 1st December 2014 are sold individually (adult/child/senior citizen).

  3. Why is the membership for 4-5 children catered for immediate family members only? 

    The new membership categories for 4-5 children are intended to cater for bigger families to enjoy cost savings during their visits to our parks. Only families who are immediate family members are eligible to apply for this category. We seek your understanding that this requirement allows us to prevent abuse and protect our members’ privileges. 

  4. Why do we need a photo on the membership card? 

    A photograph is required to verify registered members entitled to the membership benefits. Without a clear updated photograph of all registered members, we are unable to correctly identify members’ eligible for unlimited entry.

  5. Why do you only issue one card per membership? 

    Each membership is entitled to only one card. The card can only be used once a day and is also serialized to prevent abuse. 

    *No physical card will be issued for the upcoming SG50 promotion for Feather Friends. Members can enter Jurong Bird Park by scanning their e-membership cards or NRIC.

  6. Why must a physical membership card be produced for member benefits? 

    As part of the membership guidelines, a physical card must be presented in order for us to verify the photograph against the member present. This helps us to identify the people eligible for member benefits and allows us to prevent abuse and protect our members’ privileges. 

    *Those who apply for the promotional Feather Friends membership can use their e-membership cards or NRIC for entry.

  7. Can I purchase a membership for more than one year? 

    Our memberships are only valid for one year. You may renew your membership 2 months prior to expiry.

  8. Are there any incentives for renewal? 

    We are pleased to inform you that as of 16 November 2015, members who renew their Friends of the Zoo, Friends of the Zoo Plus, Friends of Night Safari or Friends of Night Safari Plus memberships within 2 months before or within 1 month after the membership’s expiry date will be rewarded with F&B / Retail Vouchers*!

  9. I am an existing Friends of the Zoo member, do I enjoy discounts at the Jurong Bird Park, River Safari and Night Safari? 

    We are pleased to inform our members that they are now able to enjoy 10% discount for selected F&B and retail outlets at all WRS parks. Members can simply present their physical membership cards at the various parks to enjoy the discounts. However, standard prices apply for admission tickets and rides.

    *Not application for the promotional Feather Friends membership.

  10. Do I need to re-submit my photograph during renewal? 

    The re-submission of an updated photograph during renewal is encouraged if there are changes to the members on the card, or if your child’s appearance has matured significantly.

    The submission of an updated photograph helps us to accurately identify the eligible members entitled to the member benefits. This also prevents any inconveniences from occurring upon admission to the park.

    For online applications, you may upload your new photograph whilst renewing your membership online. The photograph must reflect all family members whose names are included in your membership. Alternatively you can also proceed to the Membership Services Centre at Singapore Zoo, together with all registered members and our Guest Relations Officer will be glad to assist with the photo taking. 

  11. I lost my membership card, how do I go about getting the card replaced? 

    The reprinting of membership card will incur a replacement card fee of $21.40 per card. You may fill up this form and bring it along to the park with your identification card for verification purposes during your next visit. The validity of your membership card remains the same as your previous membership card.

  12. How do I get my membership card after applying online? 

    You may print out your confirmation email and present it at the Membership Services Centre at Singapore Zoo for your card collection. Friends of Night Safari members may collect their card onsite at the Singapore Zoo’s Membership Services Centre. The photo uploaded during your application must be reflective of all registered members. Once all details are in order, we can print out the membership card for you immediately during your visit. Do note that your membership will commence immediately upon application. 

    *No physical cards will be issued for the SG50 promotional Feather Friends membership.

  13. Why are the tram rides in Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park only offered to members for free on weekdays only? 

    The free tram rides are not offered during weekends and public holidays due to the overwhelming demand that comes with the high traffic volume. We are unable to increase the number of trams as our grounds cannot accommodate additional vehicular traffic. The nominal fee we charge for the tram ride will go into the maintenance of our tram service.

    *Tram rides at Jurong Bird Park are not included in the SG50 promotional Feather Friends membership launched on 1st December 2014.
